Revolutionizing Space Design: HuiSheng Lanhai

Weimo Feng's Innovative Approach to Multi-Functional Spaces

Weimo Feng's HuiSheng Lanhai is not just a sales center; it's a multi-functional space that combines aesthetic education for children, a future community kindergarten, and a city landmark. This innovative approach was inspired by the designer's concept of 'my world', using ocean-themed scene design and pixel squares as visual communication elements. This allows children to explore, discover, learn, and grow within the space, making it a core aspect of the design.

The unique properties of HuiSheng Lanhai lie in its multi-definition overlay. It's a brand-new operation mode that allows the city's newer generation to grow happily, nourished by love and beauty, and perceive the future through a space that combines education and fun. This innovative approach to space design was realized using color true stone paint, gradient wallpaper, terrazzo, and colorful glass design wallpaper.

With a building area of 2000 square meters, this comprehensive, strategically laid out space is a response to the requirements of the times. It represents a function transformation that links the sales center and kindergarten, creating a landmark that is both entertaining and educational. The design interaction is such that it allows for a seamless transition between these functions, enhancing the overall user experience.

The project was initiated in June 2019 in Yantai and completed in September 2019. The underlying research for this design was driven by the need for innovative thinking to break the limitations of the industry. The traditional sales center, with its single function and luxury, is gradually losing market competitiveness, necessitating a design that offers more.

One of the challenges in creating this design was minimizing the workload of late reconstruction and realizing the transformation of spatial functionality. This required a departure from the sales leading thinking of the traditional sales center, while also considering the restoration of the function of urban kindergarten in the later stage. Despite these challenges, HuiSheng Lanhai was successfully created, earning the Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020.

The HuiSheng Lanhai is a testament to Weimo Feng's innovative approach to design. It's a space that not only meets the needs of the present but also anticipates those of the future.
